It looks like there's a boutique exclusive Navitimer 01 model limited to only 100 pieces. I was told the 01 movement was
modified to only have two subdials and the date at 6 o'clock. It's only available in a bronze dial.
I think it looks great and was tempted to buy it. MSRP is 9720.00.

I saw this beauty there also. I wish it was for sale.

I saw that on the Breitling website last week. Not a huge fan of the bronze dial though.

I typically don't like bronze dials either, but this watch looked pretty good in person.

For 30% off I could be a fan...
Looks good with the 3 and 9 subdial too.

I must have read a different thread thinking it was this one.. It's still a nice piece that looks different than the rest.

Heard about it a couple of weeks ago.
Not too sure about the bronze dial looking at the pictures.
Will have to check it out in person at the boutique here when/if they get one in.

This is the 'muddy' bronze that really doesn't work for me. I have a bronze TT Legende and like that colour a lot, but this one seems a bit blah. On the positive side, it's good to see a different subdial layout with the in house movement, and at 100 pieces a truly limited LE.

Totally agree. They should put that movement into a 44mm SOHC with a ceramic bezel!!! That would be a winner!

Agree.. That's precisely what I told the boutique sales girl, minus the ceramic bezel. The SOHC is a beauty.

To which she replied 'what's a super ocean heritage Chrono?' Do we make one of those?

Haha.. She was actually very knowledgeable. She knew every detail about every model I asked to see and even about the out of production models I mentioned.

a bit of background, here's the original 9/3 subdials, date at 6: Navitimer 7806-S, early 1970s.
would prefer the LE w/ the classic black dial.

Yes, that would make the coins in my wallet jingle!
