I've decided to put this on the 'bay tomorrow evening - so how about a hefty £150 off, a 24 hour Price Drop to a complete steal at £1399, and save me having to list it again?

That's firm, until tomorrow night, then it's the 'bay....

Gentlemen,

Up for grabs is a lovely titanium Breitling Chrono Avenger, the E13360. The ultimate tool watch!

This Chronometer Certified model, which incorporates the Breitling 25 Jewel Calibre 13 movement (based on the ETA 7750 Valjoux), was officially produced between 2001 to 2007 (mine is a 2004). The self-winding movement features 30 Minute and 12 Hour totalizers, a subdial main time Seconds register, with a Central Chronograph seconds hand. It has a 42 hour rated power reserve.

I've just taken this as part of a trade. I've had my watchmaker inspect the movement, and regulate it for me. It's running within COSC Specs, at about -3 seconds per day (consider it within +/-5 seconds per day for the purposes of the sale).

Some Specs and further info can be found here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... ne_37.html

CONDITION REPORT:

Crystal: The Sapphire Crystal is in perfect condition, as is the Anti-Reflective coating.

Dial: It's a lovely deep Charcoal Grey dial, which is stunning against the Titanium case, and can appear almost black depending on the viewing angle. Recessed white-framed Subregisters, also grey. Quickset Date Window at 3, framed. Applied arabic numerals, lume-filled, and 'cut' where subregisters overlap. Lumed dot markers to outer of each numeral. Minute marker track to outer of dial, with a 0-100 Scale on raised outer Chapter ring. All in immaculate condition, lume is superb.

Hands: Hour and Minute hands are white 'Pencils', with a luminous fill. The central Chronograph hand is white, needle style with a lume box marker and a red tip, and a long counterbalance. All excellent, and again, the lume glows like a torch, and lasts for a good spell.

SubDial Registers: Main Time Seconds recorder at 9, 30 minute totalisator at 12, 12 hour totalisator at 6. Hands on SubDials are mini versions of the main Minutes hand. All function perfectly, and 'flyback' correctly.

Case: The case is a classic diver-style, in Titanium, so very light in comparison to steel. It's a big beast, 44mm across without Crowns/Pushers, and wears bigger (50mm with Crown!). Condition is excellent - there is a pinprick mark on the case side at 41, a tiny nick to the outer edge of the lower right lug, apart from that one or two very minor swirls at worst. I'm struggling to find anything else detrimental. Certainly no nasty dinks or gouges, perhaps an odd shiny edge at worst. There are light strap-changing marks on the inside of the lugs, nothing serious.

Caseback: The caseback is a 15-sided screwback type. Markings are clear, including Model and Serial numbers, with maybe a few hairlines, nothing obvious - see photos.

Bezel: There is a unidirectional titanium bezel, turns smoothly with 120 ratcheted 'clicks'. It has a riveted outer, traditional diver engraved markings, with raised riders at the quarters. The chimney (where the bezel meets the crystal) has one or two slight scuff marks, not bad. Lumed 'pip' at 12. Signed in Script 'B' on bezel edge at 58. One or two very light hairlines on the bezel, and some shiny edges, but only if you're really looking for them, and even then only up close.

Crown/Pushers: Original 2 position screwdown ridged-edge steel crown, clear 'B' signed. Two pushers, with crosscheck tops . Really nice condition, and all work perfectly.

Movement/Running: I've had my watchmaker inspect this for me, and he's regulated the movement. The Breitling-signed Calibre 13 Automatic movement is in excellent order, and running accurately. All functions work perfectly - date clicks over at midnight, chrono resets to zero etc.). Please note that the watch has not been pressure tested recently - the Chrono Avenger is rated at up to 300M, but I would advise testing before immersion in water.

Bracelet: The watch is supplied on a black Breitling Diver Pro II Rubber strap - it's been used, but barely - it's in very nice condition, no cuts or nicks. It's fitted with a tang buckle (new, raised logo style), in the satin-brushed finish, so complements the Titanium case beautifully. I've given the buckle a gentle rebrush, and it's come up very well, and looks near-new.

Box/Papers: Full set as follows: Outer Yellow Box; Bakelite Black Box with display cushion; Instruction Manual; Warranty Registration Kit dated 17 June 2004; COSC Certificate; original Warranty Booklet (stamped USA, Torneau); Hang Tag. The yellow outer box has a few light marks, everything else is pretty much mint - even the Bakelite Box is in super nick, all lettering present and hinges intact!

Measurements: Width (without Crown): 44mm. Thickness: 17.6mm. Lug-to-lug: 54.5mm. Lug Width 22mm. Weight 128 grams

Other: The CA is a big watch, very deep at 17.6mm, as well as wide on the wrist. However, it's titanium, so surprisingly light and easy to wear, though still has a real wrist presence.

This is a lovely example of the Chrono Avenger. I know that the previous owner only wore it sparingly, which is reflected in the condition - the watch has just turned 9 years old, but even if I say so myself, the condition on this one is remarkably good. I've been very thorough in my description, and if anything I tend to be over-critical. If you've read this far, you'll know it's not mint, but I'd be surprised if you could find a similarly aged CA in as nice order as this.

On the 'bay, the cheapest of those listed that I could find was an older non Box/Paper version, on a NATO, and they're asking £1999! Of those actually sold, a comparable model to mine (but without papers) went for £1750. I found 4 that ranged from £2238 to £2795, though they do include the bracelet.

Though mine is on the Breitling Diver strap, it's got the full Box & Papers, and is in terrific condition - I'll put this up at an extremely reasonable £1599 NOW £1549. The price includes Next Day Special Delivery for UK Forum members - It's a heavy package (@1kg) and will cost me about £14.00 to post. If you're overseas, you will need to contact me for exact Shipping costs based on destination. I'll shoulder the first £14 costs, but there will be a minimum surcharge of around £15 for Western Europe, up to a maximum £25 extra for Asia/Australia. I'll use a courier (Fed-Ex/UPS) for safer Tracked Shipping.

I reckon that's an extremely good deal for someone out there, so the price is firm. Trades/PX offers welcome, but I'm trying to rationalise the collection a bit, so ideally would prefer a straight sale. Other Breitlings or Omega Divers/Moonwatches are my weak point though...

I've loads of Feedback on here, I'm a 'Top Rated' e-bay seller (2450+ deals, 100%, username 'goonermike'), and I've got plenty of Feedback on TZ-UK (username BigBird), so there are no worries there.

I'd prefer BT. PayPal if absolutely necessary, or for overseas, but I cannot accept PayPal Gifts (my account just won't accept them, and I get charged even on gifts). So if you want to use PayPal, it'll be via the 'official' route, and you'll need to add 3% to contribute towards Fees.

If I've missed anything, you'd like more info or pics, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers!

Mike

I have the non chrono version of this watch. You won't find a better watch for the money.

Thanks Falcon....,

This needs to shift, so knock £50 off, now £1549.

Otherwise it's off to the bay....

Cheers

Mike

GLWS - a very under rated watch and pictures just don't do titanium justice.
