neither fake nor franken in the narrow sense, but a sad example of a botched dial refinishing.

Bill Shaine calls this a "BEAUTIFUL BLACK DIAL (Professionally Restored)"
oh well .....

correctly refinishing the 769 is extremely complicated (though causemann gets close), but this is truly bad; hands are wrong too.

well, am actually not surprised, saw this coming long ago...it's better to save ones reputation than engage in this conduct just to make a sale even if can't get anymore vintage Breitlings in the market!

It just seems a bit pointless really when there is so much knowledge in this forum to be able to decipher what is or isn't real, very disappointing.
