I know absolutely nothing about vintage watches and reasonable prices for them, but I came across this and it looks pretty cool to me. Can someone tell me if it appears authentic and if it's reasonably priced?

Looks broadly OK. I think that all 790s had lumed hands originally so these are replacements. Despite all of the photos the seller has managed to avoid showing a good clean straight on dial shot and the dial does look to be in rather good condition for a 70 year old watch which makes me a bit wary. Price isn't bad if it's right, but really would like to see a better dial shot.

Yeah, could be, which might explain why there aren't any good clean shots of it.

If the hands aren't original I'm not interested. I won't bother asking the seller for a straight-on shot of the dial. Thanks for your input :D

smart choice, dial clearly is not original, neither are the hands.

here is a correct Premier ref. 790 of the late 1940s
