Just took a look at the Breitling/Fuido Chronograph. It is authentic.

First, there was NO fakes of any breitling valjoux or venus movement when this watch was made - in the 1940s.

Second, this particular watch, model number and movement are clearly acknowledged in the 1944 Publication of London's "Pieces of Time" as a "REVERED AND AUTHENTIC BREITLING". Mind you, this was a publication for high end watches of the time.

Third, Breitling directLY confirmed after looking at those photos and the serial number that it is 100% authentic.
I, myself, am a NY Certified Breitling Watch Dealer. This watch is unequivocally 100% authentic.

PLEASE STOP GIVING THIS FORUM A BAD NAME. ASK YOURSELVES THIS QUESTION. HOW MANY BREITLING CHRONOGRAPH DO I HAVE IN MY COLLECTION? AND OF THOSE, HOW MANY ARE OF THE 1940S? I SENSE SOME ENVY, COMPETITION AND DESPERATION IN YOUR ATTEMPT TO SOIL COMPETENT SELLERS. GET A LIFE!

Whoever you are (most probably the seller of this "revered" piece) and whoever confirmed this is of little relevance.

There is NO doubt whatsoever that this watch is a pathetic fake.
I normally do not say this, but I own more 1940s Breitling Chronographs than you will most probably ever see in the metal.

The 1940s are actually well documented, including the movements Breitling used. And you might want to know this is NOT a Valjoux movement, the watch has no model reference number (as all Breitling chronographs from the 1940s onwards had) and no correct Breitling serial number.

This watch is a sad joke.

There is no connection whatsoever between Breitling and Fludo, here is the link to the Swiss manufacturer and trademark database:

The only thing more pathetic than the watch is the attempt to defend it - all that you have done is prove that you have not even the most basic understanding of Breitling in the 1940s.

Aside from admitting to using multiple accounts to sell items, I really feel that the burden of proof is on the seller to provide "Professional Appraisal from an Authorized, Licensed and Certified Breitling Dealership" (although as the seller surely knows the Breitling of today has no connection with the Breitling of the 40s other than the name).

I am also rather confused about what the lawyers will be expected to do - "We did submit your email and store info to our lawyers as you only have 16 feedback and you believe this now makes you a Certified eBay and Breitling Watch Global specialist???"

As an aside to that, what is the threshold for eBay feedback that makes one a 'Breitling Watch Global specialist'? I wasn't aware that eBay feedback had anything to do with knowledge of Breitlings, but I may simply be demonstrating my ignorance (perhaps more eBay feedback would help solve that).

Your rants led me to eBay who clearly told me they are investigating the "nuisance" for harassment and terror-like propensities, who claims this watch is fake. This belligerent LIAR is from Belgium. Beware, the public is more savvy these days than you give them credit for. We do NOT go to Belgium to buy watches, much less a Breitling Valjoux Chronograph.

You have ZERO knowledge of Antique or Vintage valjoux Chronographs and all of Breitling's watch archives.

This is absolutely cracking me up! We have 3 of the top vintage Breilting chrono experts in the world on this thread and two absolute buffoons claiming to be someone they aren't. The best on is the supposed EBay guy leaving messages about "destructive lies" and even better "we know who you are." Is this the same guy who authors the emails from the Nigerian prince needs my bank account?
