Has the Avenger been discontinued yet with the release of the Avenger 2?

I'm hoping to buy one, but have to wait until mid-July, so what are the chances that I can still get one in my preferred dial combo brand new from my AD?

i am positive there will be tons of New old stock around. its a pretty popular watch so there must be a bunch stock piled at Breitling SA that needs to be sold to their AD's

Yeah, the old one will be retired, especially as the new one is really only a minor refresh, but they'll be around for a while. May even be worth putting a deposit down for it to be held for a few weeks.

Bought my Avenger I yesterday (prefer it over the Avenger II which is slightly smaller and thinner). It was probably one of the last pieces in my little country of Singapore.

Nice!
That's the dial combo I want.
Any chance of some wrist shots?

Nice watch. Singapore may be a little country but one hell of a lot of watches go through there. A watch Mecca!

Thanks. I just found out my Avenger is actually the Avenger Skyland which was "discontinued" in 2009. No wonder I couldn't find it in any other shop in Singapore! In 2010, it was changed to just "Avenger" and the stencil type numerals along with the hands were changed to metal (I prefer the white of my Skyland which I feel mimics a plane's instrument cluster). So I am even happier now.

There is a very very good condition SA selling at HJ watch (Far East Plaza Level 2). It's 6 years old but looks new. I guess the previous owner (from Brunei) didn't wear it much. I almost bought that one but decided it was too big for me.

It sure is, I just got back to the US after visiting friends in Singapore and the amount of watch shops there is just astonishing. And that's coming from someone from NYC. It blows NYC out of the water. Singapore and Hong Kong just had watch shops everywhere.

According to Breitling boutique in NY, they're BUSA stock is low... And all Avengers (I) are whatever is left in stock.
So if you find a good deal somewhere I'd say drop a deposit.
Especially if its a dial color you really want.

When I was looking for an Avenger just a few weeks ago I was told Breitling USA was out of stock. I had to get one from the factory. You might consider going after one pretty soon.
