Hello everyone. Forgive the poor picture and red shirt reflection but I thought I would quickly share my recent pickup. I believe I have here is a Top Time ref' 2011 in a cushion case with round pushers. Over all the case is in good condition and the chrono functions work. The only two issues are the crown, which I have a replacement somewhere, and the crystal, which I think it sits to high for this model.

Overall it seems mostly together. I know that it's been service before, so this would explain the inconsistency with the two pieces when it comes to Breitling's DNA. Then again, nothing to offal.

The watch looks bigger than how it wears (some compression on the wrist by the new strap in my picture). It's not a Paneria but reminds me of one. Breitling was opening up to new designs back then and who knows, a 43-44mm model today would be impressive. Let me know what you think?

saw this ended early, relisted and BINed immediately, nice to meet it again.
very, very rare; only documented in a Japan catalog as far as we know.

pls post a better pic, crystal seems a bit strange as you say.

own a sibling, had been searching for years; this is only the second piece I see.

Sure. I'll be home later this week and will have a better camera. Love your 2011 and your collection.
I have to admit. I've seen your collection and you are inspiring to me. Always look forward to what you have next.
I wonder was this an Asia only market or just not popular at the time?

Impossible to say why these never "took off" and were not included in the other catalogs, quite nice really.

The "Asia Only" was my guess too, but I spoke to the original owner of my ref. 2011 - and he had never
been to Asia, bought his watch himself "in the late 1960s" - in London. go figure.

Happy to hear you like my collection - and congrats again on that rare piece !

Had some time but horrible lighting. I need to work on my macro photo skills.

Here some better pictures. I could not get the case back right. Will try again later but this should give a good ideal of the condition. In trying to get good pics, I really need to replace the crystal and get a signed B crown like my other Top Time. May have to deal with an ebay replacement for now.

Meanwhile, Fred do you know what is the correct crystal I should tell the watch guy I've used before to use? He has help me with little repairs but never one of my Breitlings. I like to see if he can do this for me.

sorry, do not know which crystal this should be, but I'll grab a side view pic of mine tomorrow, so your watchmaker will know which height to look for.

This will be great. I think this will be a good reference.

I took a shot of the side and you can see the difference in yours and mine. The watch just looks more correct with the proper size crystal.

Thanks again!
