Wait, hold it, just checked some pictures and found both types of hands.

a) Minutes hand reaching the outher circle of the minutes like the photo of WatchFred
b) Minutes hand just reaching the top of the numbers of the minutes like mine.

Take a look on old adds in the Breitling Catalogues like Chronolog 2000 and Chronolog 02(model like a)
But in Chronolog 05 and 07 they have old adds with model b).

Correct to say both are possible, may be depending the age of the model?

certainly possible, I will go through other examples and the 1940s catalogs tomorrow and try to verify this.

there were shorter hands too (only saw those on black dial pieces), but these had wider hour hands.

here's a catalog pic and an 18k example, below another SS, also has the longer hands w/ the slim hour hands. convinced the Breitling-mounted hands are new replacements.

Ok, thank you.

So, these are new hands and they are a model that have been used on Breitling Chronomat 769 watches originaly. Also Breitling used different types and lengths on their Chronomat 769 watches in the past.

I did sold my vintage Breitling,

I took some time but finally sold it.
As I didn't want to send it by post, I narrowed down the potential buyers.

Sold it to a gentleman in Germany.
We both did 1/2 of the way and met at the Dom in Aachen.

Glad I sold it to him, a collector of Vintage Breitlings.

Paca, so sorry to hear of your troubles. Think the guys have hit the nail on the head with the problem however. Time and just hanging in there for the right buyer will pay off. Pricing, images and good description are key as Fred stated. You really have to expand your market, consider eBay.
I for one have rarely sold my watches but when I have I have done my research and know the market. I myself do not put my watches up for bid. I put them as Buy Now price. This turns off some buyers but it puts me in control of my auction. I set my price, a fair one and if someone wants it they buy it. I have yet to get my price on a watch first time out. There again, I know the fair price and set it at such. I am not looking for that last 30 sec flurry that may or may not come.
