So I originally started out with the BB when I first boarded the Breitling Train 3 years ago. I ended up having issues with it (which is a whole different story), so I returned it for my CE which I currently have. There is an opportunity available for me to trade me CE in for a Polished BB for very little extra. The BB doesn't have papers though.... worth it?

My gut is telling me not to pass up on this, BUT I have when people throw away shit! (i.e. papers)

If the BB was brushed, I'd say go for it. I had a polished one once and personally regretted that decision, ultimately getting a brushed one. But it is entirely a matter of personal taste.

Perhaps a poll is in order?

Haha.... I miss the World more than anything too! I do love my TT Datejust II though. I'll be passing that one down to my son one day.

What is up with the jokes about the polls? Ok, ok... I did a couple a long time ago, but I am a changed man now!

In regards to the BB, I think the BB is more dressy though. Plus I wouldn't keep it on the bracelet, leather and rubber only!

In regards to Polished vs brushed. I prefer the bracelet look of the brushed, but I think if I put it on a strap it shouldn't look to blingy, right?

Can't comment properly without a poll (!), but for me the big date BB (I refuse to call it the 'original' as seems to be popular at the moment because, well, it isn't) needs to be brushed. Papers wouldn't bother me, just an excuse to squeeze more value out of the deal.

No, keep the CE; black dial with romans is hot!. I wouldn't make the trade, especially for the polished BB. If it was brushed then I would consider it but I still like that CE dial more because of the romans.

I'd keep the chronomat, unless you're not wearing it enough with the Datejust 2 around. The BB on rubber would be a great sporty compliment to the DJ2 though.
