I've recently acquired the orbiter 3 which I really like

But I'm getting the itch to get a mission reason is the orbiter is titanium and light but I like to feel a watch, I love the emergency I'm just a desk pilot
This mission in particular

So I know there both emergency watches but different in a lot of ways
So my question is what would you do keep the orbiter or go for the mission
I'm also interested on the thoughts of members that have owned both
Thanks
Jonah

I have the Orbiter watch. It is simply awesome. In fact in a funny way I like to think I had a hand in getting it produced, becuase when the balloon went round the world, I wrote to Breitling asking them about plans for a limited edition Orbiter watch, and they replied stating that they had no plans for one. Then they brought it out!

The Emergency really is a special piece of kit; highly recommended as in the case of the Orbiter verison you get a piece of the balloon with it which is really cool!

I don't have any experience with the Mission, but I like the 'proper' Emergency as it is sort of the 'real thing'.

Owned both. Still have the Mission which is the watch that has attracted the most comments of all the Breitling I have owned.

The Titanium Emergency is certainly the Breitling of note but the Mission has much more wrist presence and yes, you feel as though you are wearing a watch due to the weight.

If I had the funds I'd have another Titanium Emergency as I do still think it's a great watch.

I'd have an EII also but that'll have to wait for the Lottery win

This is a picture of it just prior to me buying it for the first time. It came with the Fighter bracelet as well as the Diver Pro.

I then aquired a stainless steel Pro II bracelet and bought a set of end links as I prefer the Pro II to the fighter but prefer the earlier Mission with the superb arabic lumed dial and more rugged push pieces. The later MNission I find too blingy with the polished arabics.

I then sold the watch to Dan who posted this superb pic on another popular forum. Dan then had a hankering for a B-1 with a UTC which I happened to won at the time. Of all my watches the Mission was the only one I relly regretted selling so, when Dan put it up for sale/trade....well the rest is history. You can see in one of Dan's superb pictures here why the thing is rarely off my wrist.
