Hi Guys,

I just purchased a vintage Chronomat on ebay. I needed some help with authentication. The seller informed me that the strap was aftermarket. Please link for pictures : https://www.box.com/s/uv4aozu33wt2a94kz62e

Model: 81950 A
Serial: 23274

Cheers,

The Chronomat was issued in 1984 for italian air team Frecche Tricolori . Ref 81950 A would date 1986-1987 . It was double identified 81950/ A13049 since 1989 and became A13020 in 1992.
Definitely a Breitling of the Schneider era, not "vintage" as we consider only pre- 1980 models in the vintage section.
