Am I missing something or there is really no post here about the Baselworld news, even one week after Baselworld? If so, is it really necessary to keep News and events alive or a merge into Discussion should be better?

Yes, lots of Basel post, but neither of them in the "News and events" topic here. So my question was only about the necessity of the "News and events" topic. Unfortunately I haven't been to Basel so waiting for every news. Mainly about a day-date Chronomat 41 and various dial versions of the same model. Maybe in 2014... :)

I know, found them in the minute they were posted. My post was only about this "News and events" topic, if even after Baselworld no summary here, why keep going this topic? No news in News... :) dunno why all the news appear in other topics and not here. I think everyone misunderstood my OP, but maybe I could not explain well my thoughts. Anyway, not too important...

Well personally I prefer to leave major discussion threads where they get the most eyeballs, and that's the main Breitling or General sections. That said, there are still announcements that get posted here on occasions and I see no reason to get rid of the section (which would have to be done by Admin anyway).
