Well played, Time Bandit.

I hate the poster. Breitling's marketing department has its head firmly inserted in its ass.

Maybe the people that get up set by this are the ones who can't get hot women and don't have the means of driving fast cars. In that case they shouldn't be wearing a breitling in the first place. Pretty sure breitling isn't hurting for money.

Not everyone needs a penis-mobile to feel good about themselves, and I'll decide which watches to wear. I don't need some forum troll to tell me which watches I should or shouldn't be wearing.

 Thanks for your misguided attempt to insult us; your pompousness is often entertaining to me.

That's soo cute that you get predictably revved up on cue.

If a poster makes you upset, maybe a watch isn't your biggest problem.. I'm just saying.

The bsource world has been quiet as of late, it's nice to see us entering into a new period of douchebaggery with some newly inducted trolls to fill the void.

Maybe we can all agree to disagree. I like the poster and I get the fantasy aspect, not meant to be taken literally. I like this forum, a lot of great info and people. I just think at times people take things a little too sensitively. IDK, maybe I'm wrong.. Maybe I'm just a troll ;)

For me anyway, Lucky it's just one tongue in cheek poster (I hope) because I would rather distance myself from such a brand statement.

No, it isn't. I'll willingly submit myself to more insults about my moderation style if I have to, but would much rather not have to because members self select not to cross the line.

Haha , semi shrewd marketing, " we make watches for professionals, however if we can't get enough professionals buying , we'll take anybody " . Good marketing lol.

It's an advertisement, something designed to get attention. With this audience, it clearly succeeded, drawing polar responses but keeping the name out there. I can't lie to myself and say it really doesn't matter, because on an admittedly vain level I don't like certain purported mindsets or "celebrities" linked to my watch. Re-written a little (though there's a wild flyboy stereotype mentality which may fit some) I wouldn't mind it. End of the day, though, its about product. I like the new Aerospace, I've warmed up to the SOH and Transocean, and a Navi is still a Navi, but right now I'm more out of sync with new Breitling pieces than in the past. The most tasteful advertising wouldn't change that, and advertising types being what they can, I don't automatically infer correlation between the design path of the brand and the ads cranked out.

That said, I admit there's a reason why, with the ad blitzes and endorsed celebrities, my admiration for Breguet continues to grow.

People sensitive here... No way. I guess estrogen has that effect, or have you ladies already started menopause.

Gentlemen, a reminder of the rules before I lock and / or issue warnings:

2. Name-calling and insults are childish and will not be tolerated.

9. Respect your fellow posters! Not everyone is the same as you or has the same opinion as you, so please try and be open-minded. Respect other people's opinions and they will respect yours.

And for those who have a burning desire to debate the above rules:

11. Any posts or topics that the moderation team deems offensive and/or contrary to the posting guidelines outlined above, shall either be locked or deleted by the moderation team entirely at our discretion. If any member wishes for further information on why a specific post/thread was deleted or locked, then requests should be directed to the moderation team via PM only, and not on the public forum.

Troll again, what's that like the third time this week. If you want to throw zingers at me that's fine I'm game, but lets think out side the box a little. Same with your moderation style, you've brought that up more times than I have " INSULTED" it. I'm flattered that my one comment about it permanently branded it self in your brain. I don't need to buy fast cars to fell better about my self, I buy them as a reward to my self because I already fell great.
