Hi All,

Long time no speak. My life is totally mental at the minute with extra days at work and I am now officially a part time carer for my Dad, who totally deserves all the time I can afford him.

However, its Sunday and I'm full of cold so I can't see him today. I thought I'd pop over and visit my old friends at Breitlingsource. You seem to have Breitling at Baselworld covered very well.

I was privielged to be there and I loved seeing and handling the new watches and I thought it was a triumphant year, given some of the design debacles of recent years.

However, there seems to be no mention of the Fantastical event that was the Breitling party. This was held over four of the nights during Baselworld. Andrew, his wife Suzanne and I were incedibly fortunate to witness this crazy event on the Saturday night.

Please follow the link below for my full write up. I was sober throughout, knowing I had an ealry start in the morning, and it was still one of the most mind-bending 4 hours I have ever had.

Looks like an incredible (if somewhat bizarre) time! Glad that you enjoyed it.

Surreal doesn't even begin to describe that one! Mud wrestling, Jacuzzis, half-pipes, etc..... It looks like an amazing event, but I've got to be honest, the relevance to Breitling kind of escapes me. I guess the same minds who came up with those "eclectic" ideas, also came up with some of the recent Breitling designs!

Looked like a lot of fun though!

:uplaugh: Driver you might be right. maybe this is where the design team has been drawing inspiration from.

All jokes aside it looks like one hell of a party. I know that it might not really have anything to do with the brand but I do like that whole fantasy wonderland kind of theme. it would make for a great night out.

I've seen some other pics of the party and spoke with a couple of bloggers and they all said the Breitling party was the best hands down.

There was a few ladies in fishnets throughout the evening. I'm starting to see a re-occuring theme also.

Andrew said he was concerned about me because I seemed to be taking more interest in the Corvette than the scantily clad ladies.

It was absolutely mint condition. I can't believe they were letting people walk round it with no protection.

The Chopper bikes were similarly stunning and also in perfect condition but you couldn't get near them because they were guarded by women in leather uniforms.
