Summer is approaching, so I ordered some more Milanaise mesh bracelets, decided
to try one on my "modern" Chrono-Matic, think it work quite well (Roff will disagree);
for sure these are the most comfortable bracelets I have ever worn.

The last "true" Chrono-Matic with a left hand crown, lanched in 2006 and produced until
2008 - this is the only modern Breitling recreation of a classic piece that is smaller than
the original, 44mm - and quite a lovely.

As my car makes a decent light box, decided to grab some iPhone pics - hope you enjoy them.

I love my version too, but I think yours in white is much smarter looking than my black faced version. Either way, its a great watch.

Can't wear mesh bands though, as they get my arm hairs caught in them all the time.

did u ever try true "milanaise", i,e. very fine mesh, quite impossible to get hour hairs caught in these ?

Hi Fred,

Can't say I have tried them, but might get some details from their website and check it out. I get snagged every now and then on mesh I have on other watches, and just when you least expect it. Its like electric shock treatment. I will give it a try, as it might look OK on the black version. Certainly looks the business on yours.

No, still reckon the white version is much better overall. Must be the choice pick.

Cheers

Not bad Fred

I do think that the Milanaise style works best on white dials, so I'll give you a passing grade on that one

Not convinced on the mesh...yet, BUT those are some beautiful pics of the white dial CM44. I could never make mine look that good. Don't you have a black dial 44 as well? (I only ask because I am planning a burglary spree on Austria).

:wowzers Oh, just great. Now I want a Chronomatic again. The white/gray with that red/orange seconds hand really work with the mesh.

Hi,

Great pictures of a lovely watch. Very much like the mesh, and now I think your pictures will cost me money!

thanks guys, as always, for the nice comments. isn't me, it's the iphone 5 (where's Tomcat, did not have a Galaxy discussion for some time?) and my mobile light box.

Tom, you are welcome anytime, happy to take you for a bank vault visist; never had a black cm44, like it, but do prefer the white dial.

mesh is just a lot more comfortable than bracelets for me and is a nice summer alternative to the brown and black calf I normally wear with the cm44. Not forgetting the fact that the Milanaise is so unbelieveably cheap I almost blush mentioning it.
