here are the variations, one (for me) uglier than the other - and dial readability is probably the worst I have ever seen.
:guns:

the B04 GM blah: "A watch for businessmen as well as all those with a taste for accomplishments who live and communicate across all longitudes, the Bentley B04 GMT stands out for its extremely functional dual timezone system, combined with a high-performance selfwinding chronograph movement. Beneath the radiator grille of its finely openworked black or silver dial beats a Manufacture Breitling movement developed with all the skill and knowledge lavished on the finest engines ..."

the B06 blah: "A perfect emblem of the Breitling for Bentley spirit, the Bentley B06 chronograph weds sophisticated aesthetics with Manufacture Breitling Calibre B06...."

For me all the silver dial ones are pretty much totally illegible. At least the GMT hand is visible on the B04 (although seems odd to have that so much more legible than the actual local time!) so my vote goes to the B06 Silver Storm.

I find the RG and black dial least attractive, if the word attractive can be applied here at all.
So, my vote goes to the B06 RG Royal Ebony.
BTW, I can not even see the GMT hand on the picture of the B04 GMT RG Royal Ebony.
Am I going blind or did someone forgot to photoshop it in or did you get the pictures mixed up Fred? :-)

SS Silver 06 for me - completely ilegible - even in those mockups you really have to stare to see that the subdials even have hands.

One of the things that is also clear from those dial on shots - there is absolutely no point to the grille work as you can't see anything on the movement. On the black, the red looks very weird to me, and as for gold - just compare what other watches you can buy for that kinda money!

Judge it when you see it in the flesh. It may look completely different.

Pretty sure that I am entitled to my opinion based on what I see!

Breitling has spent goodness knows how long perfecting theit images for the big launch and this is what they have come up with. Personally I (and seemingly the majority) thinkthat it is hideous. If I see it in the metal and think that it is the best looking Breitling in a decade then I will say so, I just don't think that's going to happen.

I'm thoroughly impressed by this... Someone clearly thought he'd start selling more of what never sold well because it was ugly... by making it more ugly. That is about the most idiotic thing I've come to encounter.

Period.

well, by making it uglier, unreadable and unaffordable, to be precise.
convincing strategy.

Well, there's no doubt about it, you are entitled to your opinion. There is no thought here to the contrary. If you think it’s that appalling then, fair enough, this watch would never be for you. Especially if you are prepared to judge on images alone. However, if you thought it had a glimmer of fascination then judge it after a physical inspection and reserve the critique. I am always amazed how different a watch can look in the flesh that images just can’t capture.

I just wish Breitling (and TAG are another culprit) would stop using these types of images in their advertising. I understand why, but none the less. They do themselves no credit as this type of imagery is a poor substitute for properly lit professional photography. It’s dull and unimaginative but fit for a purpose, and it wrecks the appearance of so many offerings before they have even been eyeballed.
