Interesting to see Breitling claim the transmitter is strong enough now to reach satellites.

Other thing I love is the charging dock and self-test station for the transmitter... A very nice touch, but I wonder how often you need to charge it? Would hate to be in an emergency and then have the transmitter fail because I'd forgotten to charge it that month!

Well if 38mm is for women, clearly 51mm is for gorillas... I mean men. Right Breitling?

Wow, that's a high price and a large size. Not for me, but for those who can pull off the size and are willing to pay the price, I think it looks great and has amazing functionality.

Just watched a few cool videos. But 51mm? Might be too big even for my mongo wrist. If I still flew I'd consider it, but its probably not for me. Cool technology though.

It's discussed in the thread if you read today's posts. Official UK price is GBP12,000 which equates to around $18,000

Same size as an Oris Pro Diver Chrono.

I've just taped a 50mm Socket to my wrist to see how ridiculous it looked.......

It looked ridiculous :)

Not that I like the price, but it's actually not bad when compared to many other brands nowadays, all of which seemed to have risen astronomically over the last couple of years. A least the E II offers genuine technological breakthrough.

Although 3/10 for the crash in that video lol.

 Yeah, when it says "What's next", my answer is, "Errrr, the guy gets up, brushes himself off, gets back on his bike and rides off"! Not exactly the most spectacular of crashes is it!

But I'm still loving the look of the E2. I think it's going to be a real winner (except for the price).

:yeahthat
As a lifelong rider, a lowspeed crash into soft sand is about as "best case scenario" as you can get... :uplaugh:

FYI- that D-ring on the M/C helmet is 32mm wide, so based on that blurry screen shot I calculated a little over 50mm diameter, so the rumored 49mm is definitely in the right ballpark.
Would love it in yellow! but at $12k USD, I would buy another motorcycle first.

Wow- I was more accurate than I thought...
