It's supposed to be 60 years old but looks brand new. It is also from one of the greatest sources of fakes in the world.

Steer clear!

Sorry, I thought I had posted here (rather than where I did)

Roffensian - are you sure?
:yeahthat
only joking!

I wonder how he gets such good feedback? Given the choice between trusting feedback and advice on this forum I certainly know which I trust, it is easy to see how people do get conned.

So glad I found this forum - your help is certainly appreciated!

I really don't see any problem with that watch. Dial looks authentic, proper crown, case markings look fine. I bet there's a six digit, 1950's, serial number inside the back cover if you ask. 1356 is in the book as a round gold plated with small seconds. Only problem I have with it is it's at the very top of what it's worth price wise.

Well was looking at it on a phone when I first saw it, but it still looks very new to me. Don't recall seeing that kind of stamping on the movement either???

I emailed the guy and he said he can't check at the moment but he thought it didn't have any numbers inside the back. If that's the case you might be right but it does look ok to me.
