http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Breitling-EI-221 ... 2c6d6fdaee

It has no case number (with 6 or 7 digits as it seems it should have).
Is it real ?

thanks

would not buy from this seller, even if it were authentic.

he claims it is a model exclusively issued to the Italian army -
but it seems to be a production run of one piece, not documented anywhere.

your conclusion ?

the only Breitlings after WWII without 6- or 7-digit serial numbers that seem above doubt
are the Diver models 3865/3875 & 3962, these carry 5-digit serial numbers.

Likelihood of a 100% authentic watch from that seller is infinitessimally small, stay well clear.

He's a front for the biggest crook involved with vintage Breitlings - someone who tries to pass off fakes as 'rare prototypes' and has many, many dubious practices. He has also been banned from here under numerouse aliases.
