Well I did it, I pulled the trigger. Just bought a silver dial Steelfish. Complete with boxes, manuals and cert. Should be receiving it mid next week. My first Breitling and I can't wait to get it.

Also decided that since I couldn't decide between the Steelfish and the Colt II Auto that I'll just get both. So now the hunt is on for a Colt II Auto.

I appriciate all the insight from you guys in making my decision and am happy to finally be a Breitling owner... the addiction begins!

I bet once you have the fish you'll back off on the Colt, and save that money for a future purchase. :lingsrock:

But then again, a black dial Colt would be different enough to justify another. :D

I love it how often that's the solution to these dilemmas. Enjoy.

Congrats! The silver Steelfish was also my first Breitling and first luxury piece. Have been through a few since then, so the addiction may be just starting :) .

A great first Breitling. The only one I bought new because I had to have it now. Congratulations

He'll yeah! Black and polished and white and brushed. Sounds like an essential mix to me. ;)

I guess I'd have to agree because it's what my two are!

Congratulations! The Steelfish has possibly the most beautiful dial of all the Breitlings IMO.

Cheers,
Carl

The Colt II was my first. Then I got rid of it and bought a Steelfish. I wished I could figure out a way to combine the two. That was how my problem started.
