Well it seems my Navi 01 LE is headed to BUSA. It stops running if the chrono runs fro two hours, even with a full manual wind. Runs at +1sec/day otherwise. I have no idea what could be causing this. But I now join a club of which I had hoped I would never be a member.

Sorry to hear that. A little bit of an odd problem as well - running for quite some time before stopping, but not really long enough to reduce the torque from the mainspring by any tangible amount.

Very odd. Even the small seconds stops. I'll time it again tonight. I assume there isn't much risk wearing it for a while until I send it in. Warranty until 12/13.

On the upside my Navi Monty 1461 returns Monday.

I had this same problem with my first Navi 01. The watch would stop anywhere from 45m - 3hours when the chrono was running....and this was on a full wind. If the chrono wasn't running, the watch would run perfectly fine and well within COSC specs, but once the chrono was engaged it was only a matter of time before the entire watch crapped out.

I sent it to Breitling for 3 weeks and they repaired the issue....so they thought. I got the watch back and sure enough after about an hour, with the chrono running, it stopped. And yes it was fully wound. Thankfully, this is how the watch arrived to me from my AD, so he swapped it out with a brand new one, but still this is not good reflection on Breitling's QC department or service department.

Thus my fear. I have decided I will send it, not the AD, so I can provide direct and accurate input as to the problem. And that I expect it to be tested with the chrono running for at least 24 hours. I left the chrono run from time to time, so this is new as of Monday. Ironically I have worn it every day for a week straight.

Bummer, so sorry to hear that. I think mfserge has the correct solution...you need more of them. Actually can't believe he still has all three.

Tom, call ahead and find out who the service contact is for your area, she will most likely be the one who receives your watch and then sends it into the service department. If you can get her on the phone and explain the problem, along with a detailed letter, at least you will have one point of contact to possibly assist get it resolved on the first attempt, unlike the geniuses who didn't fix mine.

The fact that the small seconds stops as well means that something is stopping the entire running train so it's not a case of any slipping in the chrono engagement clutch / column wheel so very little risk.

Sorry to hear that Tom.
Makes me even more paranoid now :-(
Seems like a new type of problem now.
Hopefully they will get it sorted out in no time.
