If you really have that much occasion for formal or at least dressy sport wear, the Patek. These two seem quite a bit different to me. I'd probably shoot somewhere in the middle for perhaps a gold Jaeger LeCoultre Master (not the big dive watch) chrono in some configuration, no time to look up a pic. Then again, I could probably afford one of those snazzy Invictas myself right now.

Breitling for me, nicer looking watch in every way, the PP is the plain and boring for me.

Logic would tell me that it should be the PP.
If I always followed logic however, I'd probably not even be a member of watch forums to start with :-)
So, I'll go with what my eyes and what my heart says - the TOC.
Sure, the PP is probably a safer investment, if there is such a thing as far as watches are concerned but the TOC has miles more "eye candy" attraction in my opinion.

Not a TO fan. Patek is nice and all, but let's think out of the box a bit and consider another exception brand - this particular model in a striking "rose gold tone" -

I stopped reading after "If you could only have one..."

Only kidding...

I guess a few good candidates would be the Navi 01 LE, Daytona, Patek,

you see? I can't choose one even when I can only choose one :uplaugh:
