Used it quite often when I was still involved in aviation. Still use it quite a bit just for mundane event timing such as cooking. I also enjoy timing trips and I especially enjoy timing how incredibly long my opponent takes to putt out on the green...
Best,
Ron

PS. With the exception of UTC modules I have never owned anything but chronographs. That could change if I find an Avenger Seawolf in great shape and at a steal price... :D

I seem to use the Dive timer way more often than the Chronograph.

edit: Great Picture Ron!

use the chrono function quite often during cooking or doing homework with my daughter,
timing tasks at work, etc. quite lost without it, actually.

+1 on the pic, excellent, Ron !

I've used it for grilling, occasionally for timing a trip though my dive timer bezel can handle the former. That might be why my only chrono right now is a quartz.

I almost never use the chrono. I only run it once in a while to keep the gears lubed up.

I use it everyday to time trips, the time needed to get from one place to another, so that I will know what time to leave the next time I encounter the same journey, especially for a business appointment as I wouldn't wanna be late. I sometimes use the bezel to do the work as I don't need very precise timing for this. I definitely use it for my gym workouts to time the exact duration of each session , so as to bring my goal of each session strictly to one hour. I also use the chronograph to time the exact duration of my business appointments so to estimate the average time taken for each appointment necessary for me to fix my future schedules. Sometimes if I want to keep my appointments short, besides using the chronograph to time the entire duration, I also use the Bezel to estimate how long I have taken in between because the huge numbers on my bezel makes them highly legible and allows me to peep in a split sec halfway through my appointment as I wouldn't want my client to catch me looking at my watch and feels that I am impolite. Despite all these I still run my chronograph at least once every 2 weeks for 12 hours to keep them lubricated. Looks also plays a part as I prefer the looks of a chronograph watch. Not easy to design a good chronograph watch as u need much more as compared to non chronograph one....

I have to confess, I have hardly ever "needed" it... But I enjoy engaging the pushers every now and then, to see what it does in the Mvt.

Since reading about the dramas with 01 Chrono issues, I use it all the time just to see if it is OK :-)
So far so good!

Ya I use it to also time the sec hand once in a while to see if it's running faster or slower than usual. Not sure if this can be a method to test whether the sec hand is working properly.

I think Breitling guys are often drawn to the brand because we like the look of Chronographs.

I don't use the chronomat function but love the look!
