Up for sale is my Breitling for Bentley Motors watch, on SS bracelet and Stone Creek Gator.
Note: This watch was purchased from an AD used, and didn’t come with COSC or warranty papers. It is 100% authentic. Period. Look at my history on all the major watch forums and know you are dealing with a trusted member with countless references. I will not respond to inquiries about its authenticity, as I feel my reputation here speaks for itself.
Now that we have that out of the way, the watch itself is in excellent condition. This model is the Copper dial model. It was called Bronze by Breitling, but don’t get it confused with later models which have a colder more greyish brown colour dial. This is the nicest colour dial I have seen. This model also has the 30 second chronograph, in which the center sweep does one lap of the dial every 30 seconds insead of every 60. All hands sweep smoothly and reset precisely to zero, and I mean precisely. It has a few light swirlies that are inevitable on a polished watch, but beyond those, no dings or dents, AR is pristine perfect. Watch keeps good time when I wear it, but I haven’t had it timed. I purchased a very rare and premium box for it. I believe this box originally came with the precious metal models. It is a gorgeous lacquered wood box, with REAL green leather travel pouch, and suede interior. Also included is a user guide and the slide rule to teach you how to use the watch’s slide rule function. Currently the watch is mounted on a very nice Gator strap from Stone Creek. Deana at Stone creek makes impeccable straps, and this one compliments the watch PERFECTLY. It brings out the copper colour of the dial better than any strap I’ve seen on this watch. I’m usually a bracelet guy, but this is the only watch that I prefer on strap because of the match. The included OEM bracelet has some light swirlies and will fit a 7.3” wrist comfortably. No extra links. This watch could be restored to 100% condition with a quick trip to the jeweller for a light polish. As it is now I’ll call it 90% conservatively. My watches are always better than described.
