Hi there,

I am looking at a used Avenger Ti, which is pretty beaten up and in need of an overhaul (per owner).

If we can agree on the right price, I am ok to send to BUSA for that overhaul.

My question is if that overhaul will also cover refinishing the Ti bracelet and case and if so, in what condition will I receive the watch back.

Could I expect the watch and bracelet in near new condition or are they just polishing out some scratches?

Thank you very much for any advice!

I haven't had my watch serviced yet but I have seen posts and pics of others on this forum. Seems they polish everything up to make it look new again. They have videos on http://www.breitling.com/en/service/index.php that will go over everything they do in a service or a complete overhaul.

Thanks for the info and link. I am currently on a tablet and can not view the video but will check on that later.

As said breitling can get a watch back to near-new condition depending on the condition. They obviously cannot fill in huge dents in the case for example, but for usual wear and tear they generally do a fantastic job. Whether it is included in the price is again dependent on what needs to be done. If a rider tab or the bezel needs to be replaced, it will obvioyusly incur a cost, but INE a polish up tends to be included.

Your best bet would be to give BUSA a call and ask them the question. If you can describe the condition they should be able to give you an approximate quote there and then.

Thank you.

I will contact BUSA but it seems that they do more than just a high level polish.

Now, its up to the seller to sell at the right price :)
