People who do that to beautiful Breilting timepieces should be locked up in maximum security jails as a menace to civilisation!

And people who BUY watches like that should be locked up in psychiatric hospitals for the criminally short of taste!

It's ugly. I don't get why some people who have too much money buy things like that instead of this...

Yeah, I would so rather have a Mulliner Tourbillon than a diamond encrusted mess....

For the record, I will own a Mulliner Tourbillon someday, Im only 23 now, but the day will come and I will have one in my box.

Come on, Driver, we must not be judgmental. As our glorious leader, you must
learn to be objective, to view each watch in it's own unique light (and this particular piece
could no doubt generate enough reflected light to illuminate an entire city!).

Surely there are Hip Hop wannabes out there who would just love to
have such a bangle decorating their wrists. You must not dash their dreams by implying that
they are stylistically challenged.

We are living in sensitive times, Driver. One does not want to appear politically incorrect, right?
Perhaps a "Hmm, most interesting," would've been a more acceptable response. Remember, in politics (and forum
monitoring) there's no such thing as a lie -- only expedient exaggeration. :)

Here's to freedom of taste (and the right to have none).

Steve

Dear HNB (and anybody else listening),

I was only joking, trying to give poor old Driver a hard time. Most of what I say
on this forum is done TONGUE-IN-CHEEK.  So whenever you see a post with
the name Drax attached to it, expect a lot of silliness,
nothing else. (The only time I'm serious is when I praise Breitlings,
which I try to do at least once every minute. :) )

Steve

in all fairness, the vast majority of people in the world have no idea what a tourbillon is, nor would they be particularly impressed even if you explained it to them. theres no more blunt and vulgar way to display your disposable income than diamonds however. opinions on taste aside, they do what theyre supposed to do :P
