As others have mentioned, stay away from brushed finishes, plated finishes and crystals. It's an excellent product, I've used it a million times with zero problems. And you don't have to go in one direction.

Remember to clean your watch before using the cape cod....I still do this and the rag is dirty after.

That's not dirt, that is polished off metal.
Hence I'd go easy with it on gold plated parts, especially the crowns, screws, tabs, pushers, etc on the two tone models.

Any part of the watch that has a brushed (satin) finish rather than polished. Cape Cod will polish the finish.

Well if you want to polish titanium I guess that you could, but no idea what a polished titanium finish would look like. As a quick use of the search function will show you titanium finishes are generally addressed with scotchbrite pads or fibreglass pens.

Just used the Cape Cod for the first time, and I have to say "WOW"! I wish I would have taken before pics.

I just used a cape cod on my Super Avenger. I wear it almost everyday so it tends to get a little swirled up after a while. 10 minutes with a cape cod cloth and the thing shines like new. It doesn't take every single scratch out but it does a good job with most of them.

I never heard about the cape cod cloths until reading about them on here, and I live about an hour from cape cod, so now I buy them by the box and sell them in my jewelry store, They do work great I use them on my super avengers
