Curious item that I saw and wondering if it is correct. According to the listing on Breitlingsource, the Superocean Heritage 46 came with either the rubber strap or the mesh. I have never seen one that came with the leather strap and deployant. So my question is did they make that model with the leather strap or would that have been a change that someone made? Missing my chronolog, so I can't find that one.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks!

Leather strap is always an option - it's a simple switch so not a problem at all.

Understood, thanks. Owner says watch is how it came from store, so my guess is they swapped either the rubber or mesh out for a leather strap.

Also shows papers, but distance photos and blurry. Ugh.

Not necessarily swapped. If you go to Breitling web site, select the Suerocean Heritage followed by "My Breitling Made To Measure" where you can select available options. You will find that strap options for the Superocean Heritage include Ocean Classic (mesh), Leather (calf), Ocean Racer (rubber) and Diver Pro II (rubber).
So the watch could well have originally come on leather strap from the AD.
The AD should be able to sell the watch with any option irrespective of what they have fitted to it on their display.
Both my Navi and TOC were fitted with leather straps when I first looked at them in the shop but I it was no problem for the AD to swap the leather to bracelets for me. If the AD refuses to do so, I go somewhere else. Unless of course it is a super "give-away" deal ;-)

Understood. So the original owner could have just asked for the leather strap as their option when new instead of mesh or rubber.

Thanks!

Yep, you can pretty much ask AD's to sell you a watch in whatever spec you like in terms of available strap options. For example I ordered my first Navi World with a blue croco strap straight from the AD, and that wasn't an "official" Chronolog option at the time. they just adjust the price accordingly and job done.
