I've got 2 of them,of which i've never left the house wearing 1 of them
and wore the other a few times,tops and curious if one can,(without yanking the batteries),
stop the watch from working and save the battery power??

They sit inside their respective boxes,inside a safe and realized the batteries are in use

and would like to stop them from "ticking".

I did not know either,but yes,you simply pull the button out all the way

and they stop...

Need to be a bit careful, in the longer term, that an old battery doesn't leak - rectification of which is reportedly not cheap.

Are you saying that stopping the battery creates a higher degree

of chance,that the watch may develop issues?

I've pulled out the crowns on each watch,stopping all movement and store them inside their respective

cases.

I am listing each of them for sale,but keeping which ever 1 doesn't sell and where they each were recently fully

serviced at Breitling, including new batteries and not worn since,am i actually suppose to leave the batt's running,versus not??

Stopping power consumption is not going to cause an issue in the short term. What can be an issue is leaving a battery in hte watch for an extended period of time because as it ages it can leak causing battery acid to leak all over the movement. That's why batteries have expiry dates, and in theory an extended period of non use (months / years) can cause the battery to still have power beyond its expiry date.
