Went to get some lunch in the mall and there was an antique show going on. Took a look around and saw a bunch of antiques watches.
I took a pic of the Patek (guy wanted 9 grand for it) but then later realized that the brown watch on the right below was a Breitling. Can anyone identify the model and tell me if it's legit? Also any idea what it might be worth? If it's priced right I might look into buying it.

Thanks

Dennis

Would want to see better pictures of the watch before answering properly. Model and serial numbers and pictures of the movement would also help.

I know... bad picture. My eye was on the Patek and I didn't realize that was a Breitling until I got home and starting zooming in real close to the watches around it.

I'll see if I can make it down there again and ask those questions and possibly get another picture. I highly doubt he would take the case back off seeing as he might not have the proper tools with him...
I'm also in a time crunch... I think they antique show leaves tomorrow (saturday morning).

this most probably is a clip-on caseback, so he will have the tool for this, I hope.

if seller does not allow u to take pictures, at least check whether there any numbers on
the outside caseback, ideally inside caseback too; there should be a 6-digit number,
most probably 4xx.xxx to 7xx.xxx and 3-digit number, can't think of a 4-didgit
model ref. that would fit.
