dear all,
One of my passions is Modern Military Aviation.
Another one, Breitling watches.

After being looking for the Tomcat Sunset LE for years, i decided to try Breitling USA directly.

Susan McDonald from B.USA, confirmed me that we can make a new request for that watch. it won't be a copy, but a new request.
we need 25 customers, of course one unique dial, payment and shipment from & to the US, it takes 10-12 months.
it can be done on 2 watches:
Aerospace on proffesional bracelet (usd2457)
Chronospace on rubber strap with folding clasp (usd2970)

Here is the picture of the 1st edition. it might look like that!!!

i'm looking for potential customers.
br,
Straycat

Tough choice.

Chronospace on the Aero Classic mesh bracelet would look absolutely stunning but at 48mm it would just be a killer for my wrist
I hope Susan can offer an upgrade (with a discount) on the Aero bracelet as there is only one place where I would wear rubber and I am not allowed to say where in this forum :D

The Aerospace at 42mm is the perfect size for me but I have always been impartial to titanium. I like a bit of weight in my watch, I like to feel that it is there.
I guess I will have to head out to the local AD and play around with both models.
So for now, please count me in tentetively and lets see what it turns out as in the end.

BTW, would the ship outside US for extra charge?
Cheers,
Wessa.

Just noticed the picture, it does not look like titanium, it looks lovely especially with that exact dial colour!!
Cheers,

Wessa

I would be in for a black dial Chonospace...don't care about the strap as I'm sure I'll change it. As luck would have it, I was scoping the Chronospace at my AD yesterday to use as my primary in-cockpit watch. My eyes aren't what they used to be and as anti-digital as I've been, to have that big UTC display in rough air would be handy.

A bit of waiting to make it an LE would be no trouble.

Guys, please don't hijack this thread with requests for completely different LEs. The OP has gone through admin for this specifically for the options that he identified. At this point all that he is looking for is an indication of interest and then the design sessions can move to new threds with voting etc in the BreitlingSource Projects section.

Thanks,

Roff.

I would be interested in the Aerospace LE version.

(would love to do the Chronospace but just too large for me to pull off, :( )

Since I was in an F-14 squadron, sadly not flying, I'd have some interest in either if you get closer to the 25 mark let me know. If Aerospace it would have to be black dial for me. Chronospace looks good to me in black, gray or white.

I realize I'm reviving a dead thread, but thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a former F-14 bubba and would also like to acquire one of these watches if someone ever does another run of them. I should have ordered one when I was at the Tomcat Sunset weekend in NAS Oceana, but never got around to it. I've got two earlier special editions from when I was on active duty - a Chronomat with the F-14 patch and a Navitimer with the TOPGUN patch. I might be able to round up some more orders from buddies who also flew the Tomcat.
