:D Hello Breitling fellows,
Here is my last find, I received it from Mr Wajs yesterday . It is an unfinished Long Playing , NOS dial + hands + full casing including movement holder and dustcover. A strange thing is that the caseback has no serial number, only the type number 815. All unfinished cases that I have seen until yet had the serial number engraved .
This watch is fitted with a Valjoux 7736... and I just had a fresh one waiting for something , it just needs cleaning and oiling .
I expect to post pics of the finished watch within 2 months

Nice wristshot, Rick! One question about crown, as I have a Navi one and the other is a non Breitling : what is the diameter of a regular 815 crown?

Happen to be wearing mine as I read your post. The crown is 5.8mm diameter.

Hi Breitling fans, this morning I left the project 815 to my watchmaker . He will overhaul the 7736 and assemble the watch . I expect to get it back in 3 weeks .
To get it perfect, I should have to find the right crown - I have tried to fit a Navi crown but too big - and a chrono bridge properly engraved - genuine , not from the italian fake connection !

Friday will be a 815 day too , my watchmaker also finished my 815 today .
Big job to repair and overhaul the dirty V7736 that I had in a drawer , with missing chrono clutch . Excentrics had been moved by a non skilled guy, and all has been tuned to work perfectly .
Temporary neutral crown , I have sourced a right 5.8mm crown , but steel so it will have to be goldplated.
Pics to come asap, friends :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
