I am about to purchase this watch to be my first ever Breitling. I am very excited about it as I think it is the model that suites me best.

I haven't heard much about it on the boards. Is there anything that I should be concerned about?

I am aware the the band can not be swapped out.

Thanks a lot, I found great info about Breitlings on this board and has aided in my purchase so far.

Based on your post on Watchuseek, my preference would be for the Navi World. I'm not a huge fan of the subdials on the model you pictured.

Hi Cy33,

I love the entire Montbrillant range. I especially like the Datora. Its old world appearance in a rugged modern form is particularly enticing.

Wear your 47 in good health, it’s a good choice in my book but I am not aware of any particular faults you should be aware of. Someone here will know more about it than me. Always admired the Montbrillant, it’s a great looking watch.

Jim

the three watches you chose from are very similar technically, all ETA based, reliable pieces.
it is you who will wear the the watch, so only you can decide which of them you like best, fits your wrist, speaks to you. enjoy your new watch !

Thanks guys. That's just what I wanted to hear. I am going to pick up the 47 next week.

I do like the World, but I actually prefer the subdials on the 47. I like contrasting subdials and I also prefer the position of the subdials on the 47.

Pics when I get it.
