Hi I'm looking to buy my first 'ling and have found a Navitimer fighters but it has no papers. Though the dealer says its been authenticated. Is there a way to get paper replaced if they have been lost?

Also does authenticated mean they have said its a brietling?

Cheers

There's a few threads on this. The manual and COSC paperwork can be purchased from Breitling. The warranty booklet cannot be replaced for obvious reasons.

If a Breitling dealer has authenticated it, it means that as far as the AD is concerned it's a genuine Breitling. However, it's worth noting that some AD's have been known to be fooled by some of the very good fakes out there, so you're best bet would be to post pictures of it here as we have some of teh best experts around when it comes to spotting fakes. If you do want us to look at it, post some decent sized pictures in the replica sub-forum and you'll get an answer pretty swiftly.

Brilliant thanks for making that a bit clearer. Do they charge to get the new booklets?

I'll post the picture let me know what you think.

I'm not sure if they will charge for the manual.
I got two manuals from a local Breitling Service Centre for fee but than again I have been their regular customer having serviced five watches with them in as many months.
Someone posted in another thread recently that Breitling quoted 70 Euro for a replacement COSC certificate. The high cost is most likely due to a new and sophisticated security features in the new certificates issued by Breitling.
