I agree with bnewbie 100% re the watch.

Just a quick question though. I see there is the certificate but is the seller also showing in the sales pictures the "B" which is cut from a section of the Orbiter's balloon envelope?

I would want ALL the bits present if I was going to buy one of these Limited Editions.

Thanks, I thought it looked real, but was hesitant due to the seller.

After a bit of questioning he divulged that his child had opened the emergency antenna :-S... A costly repair!

'They' do still monitor 121.5, and yes, it will cause a response - as evidenced by the rescue in Alaska in August.

The only monitoring that stopped on 121.5 was satellite monitoring and given that the Emergency's beacon isn't strong enough to be picked up by satellite in anything but perfect circumstances that's pretty much irrelevant.
