Ebay seem reluctant to remove listings from high rated sellers however blatant the fake is. See the current thread of a 16K rating seller with some junk that is unlikely to get pulled. In cases like this the best hope is to contact the seller. If the seller is truly reputable they would be embarrassed and remove the listing themselves.

I don't have any doubts (note the too light 100th of an hour scale, also) so I'll report it.

That's the only thing on the main dial that convinces me - looks like this is a new version of the fake and getting scary good. RFID certificates are never going to help pieces like this because they predate them, it's going to be several years before that has a material impact on quality fakes.

Reported as "'Quality' fake with outer sliderule markings have too much space and 1/100th scale is too light."

Do you think there is a good chance the movement matches the outside's trend of being so similar?

Not that good as dial.

The seller has a Montbrillant Olympus for sale as well (which is real) so he can compare the slide rules and straps from the real to the fake himself. Unfortunately the Olympus doesn't have a 100th of an hr scale for him also to compare. I sent him a message......

It's gone.
Don't know is it because of natesen's message to seller or ebay removed it.
