I just bought a 24mm breitling blue calf leather strap but it's in dark blue, is there a lighter blue calf strap for this ?

Looks like i wasted my money if there's 2 type of blue colors, cos lighter blue will match the superocean heritage blue better.

There isn't another blue available.
In the 24mm calf straps available there is only the one blue (#5130). The only other colours available in calf are Gold (Light Brown), Black, Brown (Dark Brown) and Green.
Hope this helps and great watch by the way

Both look the same to me, but the way to tell is from the reference numbers on the back. If that's deployant then they are likely both 102.

To my knowledge 101x is the only blue. The color difference is partially the lighting and camera, as that SOH doesn't look that blue in most pics. There is also variation in color by strap, and certain leather treatments will darken or lighten the strap. If you want lighter blue, one possibility is there are quite a few good strap makers who can make a strap exactly to Breitling specs with identical quality...I have quite a few straps that are custom made from a variety of materials and than use the Breitling tang/buckle.

That is the 102x which to my understanding is the standard color blue, although that particular one seems to be a slightly darker color which is probably normal variation.

101 and 102 are both valid - first is tang, second is deployant.

Mine is 102 for deployment, the reason i bought Breitling blue calf is due to people's notion that none of the after market leather calf strap can come close to that of breitling.

And that'd be quite an accurate assumption IME!

This strap is actually very hard, it is causing my wrist some pain, anyway to bend it or make it curve ? I don't think twisting will solve the issue, it will damage the strap i remember.

It will soften with use but if you want to accelerate the process you can roll it, I believe that sharkman had some techniques.
