I have a couple of watches lined up that I have lusted after for some time now and something is going to have to give in my collection.

After much consideration and soul searching I have decided to sell my Panerai 275.

The Panerai 275 is part of the Specialities range. Only the Tourbillon timepieces are rated higher in Panerai's catalogue.

This manufacture movement has an 8 day power reserve indicated on a linear display, a GMT indicator, a day/night indicator, a hacking seconds function that sets the hand to the zero position for easy regulation and a monopulsante (single pusher) chronograph. The latter allows the patented and famous crown locking system to remain intact, unlike the two button chronographs in Panerais catalogue.

This is the rare and more desirable "dot" dial version, to indicate day/night, of which only 1000 were made over a two year spell.

This example is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear.

It comes with the usual rubber strap and a black crocodile strap which has been used twice. All tools are included in the pear wood box to swap out the straps.

The current retail price is over £12000. Watchfinder have a 2011 example for sale at £11800. I am willing to sell mine for £8600. This really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The buyer must pay all other fees associated with the sale.

I have all of the boxes and paperwork it originally came with. It was originally bought on 17th December 2011 and, therefore, has one year warranty remaining.

Ideally I would like to meet face to face. You are welcome to come to my house or we can meet at Andrew Michaels Jewellers in Newark (respected forum sponsors) where I work. However, I would be willing to ship worldwide through the shop once any funds have cleared.

Please feel free to contact me on 07766702252 if you have any questions or would like further images.

Wow, never thought I'd see you part with that one Ricardo!

If I had the cash I'd buy it off you in a heartbeat. That's one of a very small number of watches that I simply cannot find fault with.

GLWS.

It wasn't an easy decision Mr Driver.

I just hope I don't regret it in the future because I doubt I'll ever see another "dot dial" version again.

I'm sure it wasn't easy. But I'm equally sure you must have your eye on something very impressive to warrant moving the 275 on. I look forward to seeing it!
