If visibility is a concern, have you considered the Blackbird or Speedmaster?

Well functionally they are similar and I like the look of both :), I need easily visible sub dials...

I think that these are very different watches, I don't really see a comparison. The bezel on the Breitling makes it looks so totally different from the IWC that if you like one then the other probably isn't going to do it for you. Anyone who has been around here for any time will be in no doubt which one I like and which one I dislike.

I was initially going to get an Evolution (AKA Cal 13) but then I saw a few members' Blackbirds and I knew it was all me. The matte, non-reflecting coating and the white-on-black makes is exceptionally easy to read, and by using matte black for the entire face, it doesn't look nearly as busy as the other Chronomats because it 'hides' the chronographs nicely without a hit to size...and the big date is really nice to read too. If you like the 'sterile instrument' look and/or prefer brushed over polished, than I can promise you this one is your winner! The lume is also more than most other watches I've seen. Most of the Speedmaster models utilize this same matte black and white numbers for their watches, and the chrono size is IIRC a bit larger. I love the Speedmaster but I love the Blackbird even more.
