Yeah, I'm not so sure about the pics above. I think it's well suited to the mesh. I originally didn't like the mesh at all but my mind was changed when I had a close look at Damnfoolman's Chronospace at one of our get togethers a while ago and the mesh is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

When I was looking for a new watch in the past few weeks I knew I'd like something with the mesh.

Having said that, I'm more of a leather strap person but I made sure I bought my Chrono-Matic 1461 on the mesh with a secondary calf strap. It stayed on the mesh for a few days but is now on the calf!

The mesh is stunning though and I will swap between the two frequently.

The mesh in my mind is a lot less blingy than say a Navitimer or Pro II bracelet and suits the retro looking models well.

I'd like to see Breitling bring out a slightly more retro Navitimer and put it on the mesh.
