I haven't been able to access Photobucket lately and was wondering if anyone else has experienced problems or if it was just my account/computer. I will look into it further this weekend and search for answers.
Thanks.

access on the iPad app is quite slow lately, but the web site functions normally, though they have upgraded their site - with an opt out option at least.

Yep, I had some trouble this week too. The new PB format does not work well if you have compatability mode enabled in your internet browser. This option causes numerous issues with how Photobucket displays.

There is an article online that helps walk you through how to turn it off, etc. - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11 ... n-off.html.

You can also add the photobucket.com link to the compatibility view list. This keeps your browser in Compatibility Mode if you want it there, but keeps Photobucket.com out of it. This will make the site work better.

You can opt out if the new format. I have had problems in the past - extremely slow and will not save edited images. Each time the answer was to simply log off, clear my cache/cookies and it worked just fine. Have NO idea why that worked. But it did.

I've switched back to the old format and don't have any problems.

Yep, I switched back too as I ahvd the same issues with saving uploads, etc, Sstill had troubles though and only fixed by accepting Photobucket for compatability mode. Strange really.

interesting - that relaunch seems to be a huge success; all of us apparently opting out - took me about 90 seconds.

Thanks for feedback guys. I did get it to work with Internet Explorer (switched back to old version too), but still not working with Firefox (my usual browser). It comes up trying to load a 'beta' version of photobucket and never finishes, don't know where that came from or how to correct it yet. Something in Firefox needs to be reset I think.
