A couple of months ago I bought a Navitimer with a 01 movement from an AD. So far I’ve been very happy with it but I have noticed that the start/stop pusher seems to respond rather sluggishly. What I mean is when I start or stop the chronograph, and take my finger off the pusher, it returns to the full out position rather slow. The reset pusher responds immediately much like the other chronographs I have owned, so I’m wondering if there might be a problem, or is this normal operation of this movement.

It's spring return so should be fairly even. There may be a bit of dirt under there, but it's likely not a big deal, but keep an eye on it and if it bothers you get it addressed under warranty.

I have three of them and have not noticed anything like you describe on any of them.

I've had more than my fair share of issues with the B01 movement, but this has not been one of them. In fact, I'd say this is totally unrelated to the movement and just an issue with the spring return, as Roff stated. If it persists, it may even be something an AD could fix.
