It's a cheap and nasty fake, and if your gold tester showed it as 18k then the tester is fake too.

sorry if you found this insulting, but a slight bit of irony is well deserved here; whoever tested this should then recalibrate his tester, the watch you are showing is a typical low grade fake - most definitely not 18k white gold.

Apologies for assuming that it was your tester - I assumed that it had come from the estate sale. The watch is most definitely not gold!
