Hello,

I am looking to buy this watch for my husband. Can you tell me if it's real or fake?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281015412805?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649

I've looked around a lot on this website (great resource, by the way) and the Internet generally regarding real vs. fake signs, and nothing regarding this watch strikes me as an obvious sign that it's fake. Please let me know - I'm hoping to surprise my husband for Christmas with a replacement for his cheap Casio watch!

Thanks,

Diane

Hi Diane,

Yes, the watch is real. The fakes of Breitlings were not very good until models from the early 2000s onwards.

Ha! Thanks, but I don't. My husband is a private pilot - I think he'll really like the little UTC dial (he's always b*tching about having to calculate zulu time on the automated weather observations!)

Thanks again - appreciate your response.

Thanks Adrian! I feel better now that I didn't miss some obvious sign that it's a fake.
