And to complete my noobness what would one expect to pay as a fair price? Recently serviced by Breitling and in great condition?

Cheers Nathan

:welcome: and :real:

I've never seen a replica of the Blackbird. The faceted pushers are unique to this model so that should be your check for authenticity.

It's a 2003/04 model so not an Evolution which was launched the following year. 40mm not 44mm if that is important to you.

Price is probably slightly higher than a Chronomat from the same years. Check eBay for going rates.

It's completely genuine A13353 Blackbird and it's a beauty to me.

Correct on 13353, but on 13(3)50 they are not faceted.

As BNewbie and Sharkmouth have said, its real. As for price, see completed sales for similar on sites such as Ebay and Chrono24. But from personal experience, I'd give a rough estimate of $2000 to $3000.
