Most Chronomats come with a highly polished bracelet. What do you think about a GMT on a brushed bracelet? Apparently, it is available from BUSA as a special order but these bands cost exactly the same as the polished version (US $1,400). Thoughts?

I'd need to see a few different angle shots but I think it works.

I'm on the fence. The brushed pilot bracelet is sweet , but does it really fit with the polished case and lugs? If that entire watch was brushed it would be awesome looking IMO

Brush the entire watch and it would look a lot nicer. In my opinion, the best looking B01s were the all brushed limited editions.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Yes, I'm on the fence too since I want the luxury of a SS bracelet but something a bit more subdued than the fancy polished look. Only LEs seem to have brushed case/bracelets for some reason. What I like about this combo is that the polished case and lugs give the watch some "pop" but a brushed pilot bracelet complements the brushed bezel.

Matches the bezel nicely

After seeing this pic, I'd still prefer the lugs to be brushed. Have you ever tried on one of the LEs with the fully brushed case? I know Wessa has that and he has some good pictrues of it. If not the LE, there is always the flying fish that has the all brushed case.

I think it looks great and that the alternate shading of brushed and polished looks good as it is. My Blackbird is similar and the brushed finish was one of the big things that drew me to it from others as I'm not big on polished personally.

I agree all brushed. No mixing polished and brushed.

Cheers.

I like it a lot and am not bothered at all by the relationship of brushed bracelet and polished case. Many watches (including Breitlings) combine brushed and polished surfaces. Go with what you like.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the feedback. It's an expensive option and since I can't really see it in person, your opinions help. I guess I'm looking for some bling but just not 100% bling. Will need to sleep on it. Anyone have pictures of other Breitlings that combine polished with brushed?

Personally, I do not like the look of polished bracelets and that kept me away from many Breitling models.
If I was to buy one, first thing I would do is take it to my watchmaker and brush it. I contemplated buying a GMT II C once and I was going to the same thing to the polished centre links.

It just does not look good on me and they are a scratch magnet.

With that said, I think it looks great with a polished bracelet. It is how I would want it.
