absolutely real, all components seem correct; 1967 piece, Venus188/Valjoux 7730.
dial and hands are in very, very nice condition.

Yes I saw this one, looks 100% genuine . Just a restriction about the the "sunburst" effect, the pics do not allow to really appreciate the condition of the case.

Thanks guys for your opinions and yes it is sunburst effect. The dial and the case are in almost immaculate condition. Just the crystal needs to be replaced.

sorry, but still unconvinced this is a sunburst case.
below are the three case finishing versions I have seen in GP, two could be called "sunburst",
neither of these seems similar to the case posted above ?

If it is a sunburst case then it would appear to have been very excessively polished.

Yes, not enough regarding the original sunburst, but too much for scratches on a polished case . Maybe a better pic?

This is not a sunburst case. I thought you meant sun reflections. :oops:
This is a glossy finished case with some scratches. Do you think it should be left like this or polished?

It's only plated, if you polish it then you'll end up with an SS case.
