That is very nice! I am unfamiliar with that brand but I will start looking into them after seeing these pics. Love it.

Sinn uses Swiss movements but they are made in Germany. All their watches are made to Chronometre Specs as they claim.

These watches are only available in North America through watchbuys.com... here is the link:
http://www.watchbuys.com/store/pc/viewP ... roduct=400

So they do not have any significant discounts.. price from watchbuys is $2270US.

Sinn do a very very cool super-depth capable diver's watch called the Sinn UX (or the Sinn UK Einsatzzeitmesser 2 B (EZM 2 B) to give it it's full name!!)

It's made of submarine grade super hardened steel  (hardened to 1500 Vickers as opposed to 220 Vickers for regular 316L steel). It has a certified chronometer quartz movement and the entire watch cavity is filled with silicon oil before it is hermetically sealed, which essentially means it is water resistant to virtually ANY depth.

Here's a link for you engineering fans!

I'm resurrecting this thread, courtesy of the search function, to say how much I like this watch. :D

Saw the black-dial Sinn Regulateur in a shop window so I did a Google search, and what do you know? It led me to Admin's video review.

I am sorely tempted by this watch, particularly now that I've figured out that I can't afford a Portuguese Regulateur...
