  So sick!! Sweet collection.
I was going to ask you about your service on your Le Mans.
I just had mine done about a year ago.
It took forever, like 2 months to get it back, and it was pricey, around US$500. Is that typical for all Breitlings or just that model?

Driver,

What a beautiful grouping of timepieces! You're one lucky man.
I really don't know how you can decide in the morning which
watch to put on. I'd probably be standing there for hours, babbling
to myself, "Which one, which one?"

A beautiful collection. I envy the hell out of you. :)

Steve

I had mine serviced a couple of months ago, and it took 5 weeks..... oh and it cost me £415...... so that's over $800! That's a lot of cash in anyone's book.

I think it's less for less complicated models, but it's still not a cheap business. And once again the UK shows that it's at the forefront of expense! (Credit where credit is due though - they did a damn fine job on it).

Driver,

You've got a nice little group of soldiers there, old man. And it's
only fitting and proper that the Steelfish sees the most active duty --
he is the most rugged, after all; the most capable, in my biased
opinion, since my Fish is the spitting image of yours.

I know what you mean about becoming addicted to BIG watches,
although I've yet to go beyond 45.5mm (my Omega P.O.). I'm still
seriously pondering an IWC for my next watch (Ingenieur or Pilot's
Chrono) but they're only 42mm! :( And the more I think about the
Super Avenger, the more appealing it becomes. I definitely have the
wrist for it (9 inches)... What to do, what to do... Anyway, your guys
all look ready for action ... Look sharp, men, what! :)

Steve

Thanks for the kind words Steve! The chaps are always ready for action!

With 9" wrists, you could easily carry off a Super Avenger! The problem is, as you rightly say, it really does make other watches that once may have been considered large, appear rather small. :? However there is an up-side to that - trust me  - it means that I can effectively cross a considerable number of Breitlings off my "Want List" on account of the size alone! :) Much healthier for the ol' bank balance! If it wasn't for the size thing, my "Want List" would be considerably more than a Monty Legende and a CM49!

If you fancied a really monster-sized IWC, then the Big Pilots watch is a beauty. (Not a very beautiful price though! :( )
