I already own 2, but need an all black one now (you guys made me feel bad about owning a white watch).

Keep in mind that im cheap. I love a good value. Also, being able to time things will be important. I can pull off any of the sizes listed, but bigger isnt always better for me (thats what she said).

I just go to amazon and select "Prime eligible", so if ive missed a super deal or model somewhere else, let me know.

Preferably, under $100.

I think you're going for a G-Shock then go the whole hog and go fully digital - so that discounts 3 and 4. I also don't like the DW6900 case shape and dial layout, so that rules out 1 and 5 for me. Which leaves number 2.

Really don't like the DW9000 either, but don't have an issue with ana-digi so went 3.

I like 4 the best. I'm assuming the time (digits) on 1 and 2 are very small. 3 isn't bad, but I'm not big on the dial or the hands. 5 is no better than the white!!

This is the model I have (C7900) - took the pic from Amazon since my photos are horrible. I'm very happy with it, I bought it for the tide and moon functions and use it pretty often (did today!). The price on Amazon is $99.99.

I like the analog vibe even in digital watch. #4 is sort of ugly so I say #3.

Yeah, another vote for this one. I had the white version for a long time, and Driver8 had another variant too if I remember correctly.

Mine's gone now, sold it because I wasn't wearing it since I picked up another one in HK (huge chunky retro-looking model, love it).

I own #2 so that' the one I'd go woith. It's my gym/chores/field watch. Have you ever checked out the "Tough Solar" models? They are great because you never have to change the battery. :)

#1: old school from mid 90s. I had one in college.
#2: old school from late 90s
#3: not big fan of fancy hour, minute hands
#4: same as 3 plus looks like two chopstick holding a meat ball every 10:40
#5: tacky. Okay for kids.
